"When I went to beauty school it completely changed my life!’’ says Nichole Farine, Owner of NC Hair Studio, Etna, PA. As a teen mom with a GED + a milllion jobs before starting beauty school she was looking into nursing school, hated it. Fascinated by haircutting she realized "I don’t want to deal with you when you’r sick I to want to deal with you when you’re happy/healthy + want to feel beautiful.’’ So, in 2010 at 22 she went to beauty school + never looked back!



Nichole believes we are all divinely guided + every single person on this earth has a purpose… 1 year later she opened her business where she now specializes in French Cutting + Balayage. She says Balayage is 100% different from what you’ve been taught for blonding or foiling. From the way you mix, stand, tools you use clay lightener is different! After taking a class at a hair show and applying (and being accepted), she became a Sunlights Balage Educator!

As a hands-on Balyage educator, in 2020 her wheels got spinning…. ‘'How can I deliver my education anywhere in the world?’’ and close the gap between a hands on clas and a ref refresher class at home where students can practice at their own pace. Education every single day at your fingertips  and inspiring more people was her goal and ‘’The French Stylist Academy’’ was conceived.

''No 2 stylists will ever paint alike because our visions are different’’says Nicole who’s mission is to get more people creative and stand in their own artistic vision using hand painted Balayage. From starting out to knowing nothing about Balayage to standing out on social media as a Balayage expert, Nichole teaches hands on Balyage along with the basics (of balayage and high-lights, low-lights, shading, melting) + put everything she knows into her 6 week live course with access for life.
